well its the weekend... and school will resume on monday... i guess the day eventually had to come... now that i've been hanging out with friends the past couple days, i wish i could just hang out with them all the time!  i started to remember time in hawaii when i could go across a few streets and hang out at kaitlynn and monica's house... I MISS THAT!  oh well...

last night i watched nightmare on elm street with kim, katie, sarah, amanda, and alyssa... the only really scary thing was people popping out of nowhere.  the blood wasn't too bad and freddy didn't look all that bad either.  i'm proud of myself cuz thats the first REAL scary movie i've watched... actually when i think about it... its probably the FIRST kind of horror movie i've seen too...lol

we also did henna tatoos last night too... the one on my forearm by sarsh looks good and i hope it stays.  the ones on my ankles and feet are good too but i'm not wearing sandles to school!  lol... sorrie kim!  well this is it for now... i really should start on my history paper!

how sad, we've had our first firefighter fatality...actually its the first causality of any kind of official... i really admire the kind of courage these people have to fight these fires for such long periods of time and some of them have even lost their own homes.  i really thank all of them from the bottom of my heart!

anyway... i'm so bummed that Chino has been cancelled!  that was such a fun tourney too!  going to parade and then getting to have dinner at the mall, hanging out with friends, the bus ride, getting home at midmight...ALL such FUN STUFF!  grr... at least its not my last year, sorrie cassie and linnea and all you other seniors, i'm sorrie that you wont be able to compete at Chino anymore...

ugh, today i should probably get started on my history paper.... i really dont wanna write it!  but its due Nov. 19 and if i dont start now i'm not gonna be all to handle it all with floatbuilding and band in the next coming weeks!

oh yeah... since its homecoming week next week, there are dress up days.. monday is Luau Day!  if you can please dress up, it would be nice to get the spirits up again!

wow, these fires are just screwing up everything...no school (i mean i like not having school but now we are going to catch up and go to school extra days), can't go outside, no band rehearsal, probably no tourneys, probably no football games, no helping out the elementary kids for their halloween festival, probably no "happy" halloween, no seeing friends, people's houses being burned up, etc...etc...etc... THIS SUCKS!  i seriously want those people responsible to be brought to justice!  this had just gone too far... those poor firefighters are working like 48 hours straight and are just hoping for a shower or a pair of clean socks...kudos to them!  i think its sad that some poeple blame the firefighters for not getting to their houses in time... i mean LOOK AT HOW MUCH FIRE THERE IS!  gosh we're so lucky that they have saved many lives... anyway, thats just my rant on that...

life otherwise is doing pretty good... band-just kinda wishing that we would get better in our field show... i wish i had friends like kaitlynn and monica again...i mean dont get me wrong i love the ones i have right now, but its not the kind of friendship i had with them... i miss them soo much!

hello!  wow, today was pretty scary.... FIRESTORM of 2003, now thats some scary stuff.  After yesterday's MC Tourney I got home at midnight and proceeded to go to bed around 12:30... This morning I was scheduled to be an altar server at the 8:30 mass and then a teacher for the 10:30 mass... Of all the sundays there are it just so happens that I get double schedule the day after MC Tourney.. oh well, I'm serving my church... anyway, I think okay i have to take a shower in the morning so i'll wake up at 7:15ish... well I totally forget Daylight Savings time and am ready by 7:00AM thinking it was 8:00AM!  My family doesn't even bother to tell me that I'm ready early cuz they think I'm excited to go to church (I'm sorrie, but yeah right!  I was sooo TIRED!)  Anyway, I serve at church and then I come out and the sun is Red, throughout mass we could see the sky turn gray from inside the church..It was scary... It was so much smoke!  Then we come home and eat something and then go back cu i have to serve again... Well after coming home a second time, I eat lunch.  We realize the fires are getting close in Scripps so my parents start getting things together...  and I did too.  I was able to fall asleep on the couch for a couple hours only to wake up to the increasing madness of this fire! ahh!  I really dont see the end soon... We are basically packed up and we have a plan of action already.  Its pretty scary trying to gather things to save.  You start to realize how much JUNK you have and then try to weigh out the value of you belongings.  Now I've found out that we dont have school tomorrow, which is kinda good cuz I still need to read my English book, do my history hw, and math hw!  lol.... i just hope i dont have to get evacuated.... so everyone PLEASE STAY SAFE!
